2010 SUV Review

In 2010, there were multiple Sport Utility Vehicles released with safety, style and fuel efficiency. When looking into a SUV there usually has to be a choice between luxury and recreation.

A 2010 SUV that definitely includes many great features is the 2010 Lincoln MKX. The crossover SUV is successor of the Lincoln Aviator. The MKX offers plenty of leg room for five passengers.

It has six airbags that include front side and curtain side. Excellent traction and stability control, anti-lock disc brakes and can get approximately eighteen to nineteen miles per gallon.

The MKX offers a quiet ride and is available in both front-wheel drive and all-wheel drive. For additional safety there are rear parking sensors and tire pressure monitoring. In luxury, heated and cooled seats, dual zone climate control and genuine wood and leather trim.

The Cheverolet Equinox offers an exceptionally strong performance with great stability control and traction. A new feature of the SUV include the gasoline direct injection engine that guarantees better fuel economy.

It can get anywhere from twenty-three to twenty-six miles per gallon. It has six speed automatics, anti-lock brakes, brake assist and all-wheel and front-wheel drive. As far as safety the Equinox offers front seat and side curtain airbags and OnStar. It has a noise-canceling system and a very spacious interior for passengers.

A newcomer, the Volvo XC60, made a fantastic 2010 SUV debut. It is stylish, safe and spacious. It offers a six speed Geartronic transmission, front engine and four wheel drive and gets up to eighteen miles per gallon.

The SUV has brake assist, anti-lock brakes and front and side airbags. For additional safety, the XC60 has rollover-sensing stability control, whiplash reducing seats, collision warning break support and hill descent control. It is equipped with a power driver seat, eight speaker audio system, Bluetooth and dual zone climate control.

There are options for three different body styles and trims and endless other add-ons. Keyless ignition and entry, dual-screen rear entertainment system and twelve speaker Dynaudio surround sound system are available.
