According to one study here is a list of 10 of the top small SUVs on the market for 2010:
1. 2010 Honda CRV
The Honda CRV ranges in price from $21,000 to $29,000 MRSP it is best in its class at providing utility, affordability and safety.
2. 2010 GMC Terrain
The Terrain ranges in price from $24,000 to $31,000 MRSP. It is a new compact crossover that has been impressing test drivers with its fuel efficiency and value.
3. 2010 Chevy Equinox
The Equinox ranges in price from $22,000 to $29,000 MRSP. The 2010 model has received a complete update and has earned best fuel economy in its class. It also has a more power than it’s predecessor.
Tied with the Chevy Equinox for the number 3 spot was the 2010 Toyota Rav.
4. Since this review has been completed Toyota has suspended sales on this model and put out a recall to check for a sticky accelerator problem. At this time there has not been any further reviews or information.
5. 2010 Volkswagen Tiguan
5. 2010 Volkswagen Tiguan ranges in price from $23,000 to $33,000 MRSP. The Tiguan, short for “Tiger” and “Iguana”, although appealing for it’s sporty feel has low fuel economy with limited cargo space. Its upscale appeal and dynamic German driving will appeal to Volkswagen owners who have been looking for a compact size SUV.
Falling next in line in order from spots 6 to 10 are the: 2010 Mitsubishi Outlander, 2010 Ford Escape Hybrid, 2010 Nissan Xterra, 2010 Ford Escape and the 2010 Honda Element.
